Hello,

Thanks for visiting my page.

I have been working in the environmental sector now for many years. Having worked for the worlds first renewable energy company, the manufacturer of the worlds first high performance motorcycle and more recently a leading manufacturer of electric cycles. I am keen to learn more about new product coming to market and am very focussed on creating demand for electric vehicles.

I have my own site, which can be seen at: http://web.mac.com/mark_loveridge

Vectrix VX1 Review

As you maybe aware, I used to work for Vectrix and so have been able to cover over 3000 miles on one.

The Vectrix truly is an engineering masterpiece, built to the highest quality with the best available components. It sports brands such as Brembo, Marzocchi, Sachs and uses a motor designed in conjunction with Parker Hannifin who also do work with many large German automotive firms.

Riding the bike is easy, and as you would with a normal bike, you put in your key and switch the ignition on to… Continue

Mitsubishi iMiEV review

I was fortunate enough to get a drive in the new Mitsubishi electric car, which in my opinion is the most refined and well built electric car on the market today. Fully crash tested and boasting the latest in Lithium Ion battery technology - supplied by Mitsubishi’s own battery factory.

The Mitsubishi has great proportions, being very tall for maximum headroom, long enough to provide more than adequate legroom for the taller passenger and narrow enough to tackle winding streets. All this withou… Continue

On yer bike!

Do you hate arriving at work sweaty? Dread using the bike because of the effort you have to put in for that final hill on the way home?

Well, what if I told you that you could ride your bike, still exercise but arrive sweat free and with a huge grin on your face! Its true, I want to talk about electric bikes. As you may know I have recently started working for Urban Mover, we are a leading manufacturer of electric bikes and I see a huge future for this type of product as it helps to promote a h… Continue

Is a Jeep cleaner that a Prius?

Its a bold claim: a big, dirty, 4x4 American built truck is cleaner than a sleek, petrol hybrid.....but is there any truth in it?!

Well....maybe...the claim is not centered around its green credentials under operation, it doesn’t stand a chance, but more based upon a life-cycle- from dust to dust. The claim is that the jeep has the majority of its parts manufactured locally and the carbon cost of manufacturing is so much lower that it easily offsets the environmental running costs. There maybe… Continue

Should we be bailing out the car firms?

This is an interesting subject, and a very emotive one at that. I can appreciate that the motor trade employs a huge amount of people in the UK and also represents a large part of our economy and i’d never wish for anyone to be put out of a job.

However, the motor manufacturers have done very little in the past to improve efficiency, to lead the way and innovate different ways to reduce emissions. They have too many ties with the large oil giants such as Shell and BP.

Due to government pressur… Continue

Hey Mark...

Marketing dynamic in CA is really good... glad to see some ebikes out there that count. Getting good feedback.

At events where people just ride bikes things seem so straight forward. We can sure hope for that in the real world. Starts with us for sure.

Hoping for good things from you guys in charging systems. Keep us posted. With the good momentum in such a short time you should have the R&D $ for sure.

Thanks!

:-)
